I believe what this does for me is it essentially give me vsync (double vsync) without actually turning on vsyncĪlso if I do enable ubersampling I would never hit 60fps so I would have tearing if it was set to 60 so it is set to 30 so that I do not see tearing. Oh sorry one last thing at the bottom I added
The maxtexturesize and maxatlastexturesize is not in MB its in KB I dont think it matters if you go further than 4096 because I dont think the source is larger than that. Also the game will run better and smoother the more vram that you actually use because it is switching it out less. Make sure your TextureMemoryBudget is atleast 50mb less than you vram if you go over your vram at all the game will most likely crash. Also make sure the antialiasing is set to =0 if you turn on ubber.

This is because the maximum amount of memory that witcher 2 can use ever is 1500mb thats the hard set limit in the. (that is if they combine the VRAM which is what I would guess happens though I havn't had an SLI setup since my 2 Vodoo 2 12mb cards HAHAHA)īy default maxing out the VRAM setting in the advanced settings will not even max out my brothers 5850s 1gb of ram. Actually just about nothing you do can eat up your VRAM in this game especially if you have an SLI configuration.
